BabyBlooze Buck 'up, buttercup! A collection of sad, mad, bad and completely adorable kids

This is one sad Buzz Lightyear; bummed out because the neighbor kids had light sabers. Suddenly the Space Ranger’s flying wings didn’t seem so cool.

“Bloozers, Bloozers, what do you see?” It’s a one-photo mashup of children’s author Eric Carle’s finest works: his beloved “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” together with “The Grouchy Ladybug.” I really don’t want to know how the ending turns out.

Here we have a convincing Mini Carmen Miranda (adorned with tassles and everything!) with a look on her face that can be described as anything but jubliant. Mom chuckles thinking how her daughter will look back on this photo and be upset about the costume — I’d reckon she’ll be even more miffed when she realizes Mom shared this with the entire community of BabyBlooze!

Heaven knows what could perturb this sweet lil’ penguin… Sea lion? Killer whale? Or maybe running out of candy before Halloween ended?

RAWR, we’re loving this fierce and feisty Tigger in all her makeup-smeared glory. Mom Rhiannon assures us that the tantrum was not long-lived; a smiling happy-go-lucky Tigger emerged just a few minutes later.

Mom Jennifer reports that they lovingly called him “The Reluctant Sherriff” during the hoopla of last year’s Halloween. Not once did he lighten up during the full day of fun parties and events. She is crossing her fingers that this year’s astronaut costume is received a little more enthusiastically.

This poor kid certainly did not intend it, but his bright and cheery costume juxtaposed against his dark and dreary mood had me howling in laugher – which is exactly what effective clowns do. Well played, kiddo!

It’s October which means parents ’round the globe are meticulously selecting their children’s Halloween costumes for the end of the month. Few, if any, realize what havoc can ensue when a picky toddler or opinionated preschooler takes a stand against their chosen costume. (Don’t believe me? Check out the infamous hotdog or lobster babies previously featured).

Monsters Be Gone

Each person who submits a bloozy Halloween photo will be entered to win Monster Repellent, a magical spray that wards off monsters, bed bugs and all SCARY things that might cause your little one to have the blooze.

Winner will be drawn randomly on November 1, 2009 and notified via email. The photo needs not to have been published on BabyBlooze.com to qualify. One entry per photo submitted.

Mom claims the sad faces are due to a bout of inclement weather on the putt-putt courses last week. I think they might be due to a bout of bad playing by the reigning Super Bowl champs.
