The kid (and dog for that matter) would not get with the program for the perfect holiday photo – so Mom and Dad decided to roll with it and actually used this bloozy photo for their holiday card. Bravo!

It’s Year 2 and not much has changed; this was last year’s attempt at Halloween. We hope by Trick-or-Treat time this evening, she’ll have the courage to proudly wear this outfit for a rip-RAWRing time!

Oh dear. Looks like the color-your-own costume idea wasn’t well received. I could just see this cop breaking up a rowdy prom with a bunch of toddlers in faux tuxedo shirts. Too, tutu cute!

(Rachael strikes again! Her son’s discontent being Superman and a Bavarian boy has also been documented on this site. Wonder if he would finally smile over one of mom’s adorable tutus? In any case, thank you for all the photos.)

Mom Julie says it best: “It’s my son at 3 months in a lobster suit that we reassigned as a crab to match his sister’s Ariel the Mermaid costume. He was Sebastian, but as you can see the whole thing had him feeling… crabby….” [HA! I love it when the parents do the punny work for me!]

Mom set out to honor her husband’s heritage by dressing the kids in traditional German garb; her son, a strapping young lad at only 18 months old, set out to let everyone know just how displeased he was to wear his very own pair of homemade lederhosen. OktoberMess!
